Police are investigating a fight that took place amongst minors on the 2400 W. Antoinette St. on Friday at 8:50 pm.
Police responded to the scene and multiple subjects ran away as they approached.
Authorities were told at least one of the subjects had a gun.
Police spoke to one of the victims in the fight, who said that a fight broke out amongst 12 to 13 year old girls. She tried to break up the fight, but was cut on her finger by a knife.
Police spoke to a 40-year-old man who was on the scene, who was also trying to break up the brawl. He said he was approached by a black male in a white tee shirt who lifted up his shirt to reveal a handgun in his waistband.
The victim said that the man threatened to shoot him if he did not back away from the scene. The victim said that the other man ran from the scene when police arrived.
Police say the only thing they know about the fight is that it was started over posts on Facebook.
Am I wrong to be uncomfortable with using the same ghetto hip hop vehicle that helped to cause all the trouble in an effort to quell it?
Oh great. A "bury the dead gangster" fund! How about "all proceeds go to a relief fund for innocent homeowners who cant sell their home because of the government tit suckers who keep shooting up the town. I'd donate to that.
